What Dems Were Saying About The Border When Alleged Illegal Immigrant Murderer Crossed Over

The tragedy of Laken Hope Riley’s death has been made worse by the fact her alleged killer entered the country illegally in 2022 and had been arrested in New York City five months ago.

As I previously wrote, José Antonio Ibarra had illegally crossed over into El Paso, Texas during a time when that sector along the border was being particularly hit hard by the crisis. Ibarra had been released due to the lack of detention space. At the same time, Democrats were assuring the country that while there was a challenge, everything was going just fine.
