Part 2: Smeared Special Forces Soldier Says He Learned How Unethical The Media Can Be

This is part two of what happened to Sgt. Maj. Charles “Chuck” Ritter with false allegations of misconduct. Read part one here.

When Chuck Ritter got a text from Daniel Regeimbal asking to meet with him to clear the air after trying to ruin Ritter’s career, he ignored the text and forwarded it to his lawyer. They both agreed at the time it was probably a setup to trap him.

Regeimbal told me he sent the message hoping to get the chance to talk with Ritter because he knows Ritter is the type of man who wants to hear things for himself. After talking with a few people and got a full understanding of what led to the false accusations, Ritter accepted the offer to meet.

“I wanted to apologize to him and try to explain where my mindset was,” Regeimbal said.
