NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. — As many of you already saw, I covered the recent “Flood The Tree Lighting For Gaza” and to say it was chaotic is an understatement. As I have been warning since the first wave of protests broke out after Hamas’ terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7, the momentum is still strong even though the weather has gotten significantly colder.
I would not be surprised if the pro-Palestine and pro-Hamas crowd in the U.S. start going kinetic here as the war in Gaza goes on and the IDF continues to inflict heavy damage against Hamas’ ability to wage war. I can see how these organized activists will start feeling the pressure to escalate their tactics since the U.S. government has largely ignored their demands, especially since it will officially be an election year in a few weeks.
Most of the fighting and chaos is on my X account, but paid subscribers are getting more behind-the-scenes footage. Scenes include outnumbered NYC police officers, including an assistant chief, being chased away by the angry mob and vandalism by the crowd.
The good news I have lowered the price of the paid subscription. The cost to access subscriber-only posts is now $5 a month or $55 a year. Thank you for those who were among the first to subscribe. Your support has been critical as the Substack grows. I am also in the process of taking advantage of Substack’s new video podcast feature. Paid subscribers will have full access to all episodes. So stay tuned for that!
