Dem Strategist Gives Hint On Issue The Left Will Protest Over Once Trump Is In Office

I will admit that I have been surprised at the lack of large-scale protests in the aftermath of Donald Trump winning the presidency once again. The media, Kamala Harris, and her surrogates all begged people to vote for Democrats because Trump means the end of the country as we know it.

With Election Day come and gone, there has been a muted response from the Far-Left and the Left in general. There were a few protests in the Pacific Northwest when the election took place, but attendance was small with no major damage. There was a pro-illegal immigration protest in New York City a few days later, but it was nothing more than a march.

So when will the action start?

Again, nothing is for certain, but Democrat strategist Julie Roginsky gave a clue when she said on CNN earlier this week that should mass deportations take place, she will be among the American citizens who will protest to prevent illegal immigrants from being removed.

Roginsky made it a point to say there is a migrant shelter in her Upper Westside neighborhood in New York City.

“I can promise you with every fiber of my being because I will probably be one of those people, if anybody comes for these people and tries to drag them out by force, there will be protests of people like me, American citizens, who are going to stand there and do everything possible,” she said.

“I live next to these people. I can tell you they are women, and they are children. ... I am telling you right now, practically speaking, is that there will be people, American citizens, who will prevent these little kids from being dragged out of these shelters. ... What is going to happen to the military when the military opens fire on us?” she added.

Conservative contributor Scott Jennings rightfully replied, “We're way down a rabbit hole here.”

As hysterical as Roginsky was that night, I certainly take her word for it. There is no shortage of liberals in places like NYC who will go out of their way to interfere with the deportation operation.

There is precedent under the first Trump administration. In Bend, Oregon, during the “summer of love,” hundreds of protesters blocked two buses for nearly 12 hours to prevent ICE from taking away two criminal aliens. Border Patrol agents had to move in to get the crowd away and get the detainees and agents out.

A more serious case is that of Willem van Spronsen, a self-identified Antifa member, who attempted to set an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington on fire in 2019. He was shot and killed by officers during his attack.

All of that to say is this could get ugly very quickly. It is not going to matter that the new Trump administration is going to first go after hardened criminals and people who have already received their final deportation notice. The liberals and progressives in their respective cities will do something to interfere with the operations. How far they will go and how many will act is yet to be seen.

If anyone has anyone questions why such an operation is necessary, look no further than the Laken Riley trial, which concluded today. Jose Ibarra was officially found guilty for her brutal murder. Part of the reason why we know Ibarra was the killer is because Riley fought him off for nearly 20 minutes, getting his DNA under her fingernails.

Fox News’ Bill Melugin put it succinctly when he wrote:

Government failed Laken Riley at every step of the way.

Her killer was in federal custody after crossing the border illegally, then released.

He was released again in sanctuary city NYC after an arrest - ICE not notified.

Then NYC gave him a taxpayer funded flight to GA, according to his partner’s testimony.

It’s unacceptable at every single level.

He is part of Tren de Aragua. He is far from the only member who has hurt or killed an American citizen. This gang should not be here, but they are thanks to the Biden-Harris administration opening up our nation’s border because they wanted to be the opposite of Trump. It’s sickening and evil.

Hopefully, things will get better starting on January 20, 2025.
